Your Responsibilities:
- Act as technical lead for INNIO scope of supply on multiple large / complex customer projects execution
- Encourage best collaboration with other teams and disciplines like the development teams, customers, partners, consortium partners, EPC or suppliers
- Coordinate changes to project requirements with Sales, Project Management, Sourcing, and Production teams
- Support Sales in early project development phase: Preliminary equipment specification and technical interface with suppliers, customer specification review, customer meetings, check of proposal drawings, technical documentation development and review potential partner / EPC qualifications
- Review design for compliance with technical regulations, engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications
- Own calculation or specification of calculations for experts like simulation department of vessels, fittings, ventilation, steel construction and pipeline construction regarding to pressure losses, pressure resistance and statics, material selection
- Driving forwards, adopting, and following up the implementation of product improvements, standardized components/systems/machines, process optimizations and lessons learned initiatives to ensure effective and qualitative results
- Support on quality issues, design reviews, failure and root cause analysis
- Provide support to site managers or field engineering during installation, commissioning and warranty
Your Profile:
- Bachelors / Masters´ degree (or equivalent) in Process- or Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
- Several years of working experience in a related Engineering or Project environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with significant engineering experience in gas engines power plant engineering
- Familiar with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, steam systems, emission control and piping systems
- Proven experience in mechanical design, P&Id, Layouts and order execution
- Very good knowledge of relevant design codes and design tools
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time in Europe and globally
- Demonstrated project management skills including coordinating activities globally and across functions
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken German and English
- Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience
